About Michael
Michael Hirsch has been teaching and coaching for over three decades and has proven himself to be an exceptional leader with an unwavering commitment to student development. He believes in the power of a growth mindset and is dedicated to ensuring that his students are equipped with the skills they need to succeed today and into the future.
Michael is an expert in using data to drive student growth and has developed strategies that have resulted in significant improvements in both math and reading scores. He is a passionate advocate for Project-Based Learning and is known for his ability to connect with students and make learning engaging and relevant.
Michael has been honored as coach of the year nine times at different levels of competition, including being a finalist for national Junior College coach of the year. Michael has been a valued member of every school community he has been a part of and is recognized for his collaborative spirit and leadership skills.

In January of 2022, Michael founded the education non-profit Literacy Rescue.
